Tips For Chosing The Perfect Magic Shows

My husband has always been a kid at heart. He takes great pleasure out of the simple things in life. This makes him a fun person to be around and also a good partner for me because I tend to be more serious and practical in my approach to life. One of the things that has always fascinated my husband is magic shows. He enjoys watching all kinds of magic. He approaches the shows with the awe of a young child. I thought it would be fun to find magic shows that I could hire for his surprise birthday party.

When my husband turned fifty he was out of town on a hunting trip. He did not want a party to celebrate. I think he was still expecting one because he was watching everything I did to see if he could catch me making party plans. This year he is going to be fifty two on his birthday. There is no way that he expects to have a surprise party so I am planning one. He is a very difficult person to surprise so this has become a joint task between me and his sister. I have also engaged the help of our neighbors in setting up the surprise.

Our neighbors have a huge barn that has been remodeled. The area that had been a hay loft has been converted into a dance floor. You can access this barn from both of our yards. We live on a lake and our home is over a hundred years old and had been the original farm house. When the farmer decided to split the property to for a development, many years ago, he split the barn to the acre of land that our neighbors bought and kept a garage and a garden shed with our acre. My neighbors agreed that I could have the birthday party in the loft area of the barn. They belong to a local VFW and were able to get the juke box. This will provide music selections for the party. They also said that I could use their kitchen to prepare the food. My sister-in-law lives in the metro area so she was in charge of checking out magic shows that would be affordable to entertain at the party. She loves magic shows as much as my husband so she was excited to go watch different magicians perform in order to hire one for the party. She called me all excited because she went to a show and said the magician was very good. He has a cabin on the lake we live on so he was willing to perform at the party and his rate was reasonable.

The day of the party arrived. We had people park at the boat landing area and access the neighbors barn through the neighbor’s yard. I told my husband that I was going to visit the neighbors and went over to the barn loft. My neighbor then called my husband and asked him if he could help carry something from the hay loft. My husband was very surprised when he walked up the steps of the loft and saw family and friends gathered for the party. The magician put on two magic shows because everyone liked him so much. It was a very successful surprise party.
